The tower to celebrate 100 year anniversary of Donghak Peasant Revolution was built with granite, marble and obsidian, and consists of the main tower and sub-towers. The main tower is 1,894 cm high to commemorate the year 1894, the year the Donghak Peasant Revolution broke out. The bottom sections are 3m-high each. The quadrangular pyramid shape symbolizes the committed spirit of the popular uprising while the three-layered gold rims symbolize the uprising of the peasants, the Baeksan Uprising of March and Samrye Uprising of September. The sub-towers consist of four cylinders of 85 cm diameters and 1100cm height. The four cylinders symbolize the equal and horizontal society of four people. The ground was covered with obsidian and granite in 25m by 17.5m area. The total area of the park is approximately 5699m2. International Sculpture Park is neat by the Jeon Bong-Jun Park, and the two parks are attracting many tourists and local visitors.
